Amazing Smocked Holiday Dresses From Zulily

Disclosure: I was provided a gift card in order to purchase items and bring you this review. All opinions are my own.

This Christmas I knew I wanted an adorable smocked dress for Amelia and spent a lot of time looking online. Smocked clothing is back and bigger than ever. Zulily offers a great variety of brands and clothing options for your little one.

With plenty of holiday parties and things going on I always want my girls to look their best.

I decided on the most adorable Red Plaid Santa Jumper & Turtleneck Set by Vive la Fete.

I mean look at the cuteness, it is perfect!

According to Shawn (Anderson) Redman, smocking is back in a big way thanks to Prince George.

It’s no surprise Smocking is back and better than ever. For example, you’ll see Prince George donning woven, tailored styles that represent an emergence of a more sophisticated look. Pair a smocked tee with pants (or a playsuit for an infant) for a classic holiday look.

 ·       Rompers, Playsuits, and Bubbles: These are classic one-piece garments that are perfect festive finery for infants. Style them for girls with a matching hair bow.  For Boys, you can pair them with oxfords or slip-ons with knee high socks.
 ·        If you’re still stuck for inspiration, get something in a sturdy fabric like Corduroy or Velvet. These materials are perfect for children around the holidays because they are always fashionable, yet keep kiddos warm in the winter cold!
·       Bishop Dresses are another timeless silhouette that highlight smocking along the neckline, creating a sweet, softer look. For little girls, I love traditional red Bishop dresses with an embroidered holiday motif on the yoke (i.e. Christmas trees, Santa, poinsettias, snowmen).  You can style it with tights and patent leather Mary Janes
·       John Johns are another classic holiday look for boys. They can be layered with crisp white shirt or turtleneck and paired with lace-up oxfords.

Amelias outfit was not complete until I added red patent Mary Janes by Pitter Patter and a Rudolph bow clip.

The Rudolph bow is simply adorable and completed with Rudolph's red nose

Zulily offers tons of smocking option especially right now during the Holidays. Everyday they launch new brands to chose from.

I cannot wait for our Christmas Party so Amelia can show off the smocked dress and accessories we found on Zulily!
