Making The Perfect Cup of Coffee With iCoffee Opus #Giveaway

Disclosure: Party of 5 received samples in order to bring you this review. All opinions are my own.

                                iCoffee

We won't deny it, the Hubs and I love coffee all day everyday. Making a whole pot of coffee often seems like a silly thing to do especially if we want just one cup at night.

Having tried previous single serve coffee makers before and finding the coffee ending up bitter and not working properly I was hesitant to try out the iCoffee Opus single serve brewer.

Boy and I glad I did!

The iCoffee Opus is not just for coffee lovers like us but for tea drinkers and kids as well.

For the tea lovers just chose your size, select your tea bag, k-cup or the included iCup and press the button. Tea ready in seconds. You can also use fresh mint leaves or ginger to make a morning cup of tea that will give them energy for the day ahead.

For the kids, I use any brand I chose of hot chocolate, add mini marshmallows and a touch of whipped cream.

We even use ours for just plain water in the mornings when making the kids oatmeal for breakfast. The water is the perfect temperature and there is no more waiting for the kettle of water to boil.

Included in the iCoffee Opus Single Serve Brewing System is

  • iCup reusable cup for brewing your own coffee
  • 6 count variety pack
  • 75 oz removable water reservoir
  • Spinbrew™ technology steams, spins and stirs inside the K-style cup to virtually eliminate acidic and bitter aftertaste

Each iCoffee single serve model is equipped with Burrows’ patented SpinBrew™ Technology that lets users brew their favorite flavors for an impossibly smooth cup of coffee without sacrificing convenience. iCoffee single serve brewers also accept all reusable, biodegradable and recyclable k-cup options, unlike other single serve brewers which accept only brand-name, non-recyclable k-cups.

That spin brew technology is really something else and actually does remove the acidity and bitterness in your coffee. I didn't think I would notice but I do. My coffee tastes much fresher and smooth.

A simple thing is that my favorite coffee mug fits underneath without having to remove the drip tray.

The amazing features on this bad boy include

  • iCoffee Opus Single Serve Brewer provides an exquisite cup of smooth tasting coffee every time
  • Adjustable brew strength
  • Spinbrew™ technology steams, spins and stirs inside the K-style cup to virtually eliminate acidic and bitter aftertaste
  • Works with all single-serve style cups including K-Cup®, OneCup™, and RealCup™ capsules, plus K-style cups form every private label brand and maker
  • Not compatible with K-Carafe® packs
  • Removable drip tray allows for travel mug
  • Brews up to a 12 oz. size mug of coffee
  • 75 oz. removable water reservoir
  • Dial-a-Brew™ feature lets you select a size from 4 to 12 oz. in 1/2 oz. increments
  • Auto shut-off control and energy saver mode
  • Plastic exterior
  • Wipe clean exterior
  • Measures 13'' L x 10'' W x 13'' H
  • UL listed
  • 1-year manufacturer's warranty
After you turn your machine on, it does take a few to heat up but the beautifully lit screen will tell you when your iCoffee Opus Single Serve Brewer is ready.

You can find the iCoffee Opus brewer at Bed Bath & Beyond for $139.99

I love this machine so much that Party of 5 wants to give one (1) lucky reader their very own!
