Giving Our Dog His Spunk Back With Purina ProPlan Bright Mind

When you first get a puppy they are so spunky and active but as the years go by they tend to lose some of that spunk and activeness. Getting old is a part of life, but we strive to keep our pets feeling and acting as young as possible.

Our first dog, Bandit just turned 8 and we have noticed a slight decline in his mental sharpness. Purina ProPlan experts stated that around age 7, dog's brain begins to change, which could affect memory, learning and awareness.  We want our dog to stay sharp since he is like one of our children.

While shopping at PetSmart, I took my time to check out the options for our older pooch. I knew I wanted something that could potentially help him gain some of his alertness back. We want our Bandit to hopefully remember how to do all of his commands like he did when he was a young spunky puppy.

Purina ProPlan Bright Mind dog food contains high quality protein with chicken being the first ingredient. As a dog parent, we always want the best food for our beloved animals, even more so as they age.
It also contains enhanced botanical oils to provide a fuel source for the brain in older dogs.

We added Purina ProPlan Bright Mind to Bandit's daily diet to hopefully notice differences in owner-dog interaction, interest in play and the ability to adapt and cope with change.

Check back with us in 10 days to see just how Bandit did with his food change.

Bandit's name totally fits him! I hope this new food really helps out. We have two older pups in our house, so I'm eager to hear what Bandit thinks! #client
