My girls and I love a nice cold treat especially when the weather is warmer. This past weekend while we were at Walmart they had a Blue Bunny Ice Cream Demo going on that featured Blue Bunny Vanilla Ice cream. They had their sampling topped with fresh peaches. What a nice, refreshing treat.
There is an upcoming 4th of July demo featuring Blue Bunny who will be partnering with Chips Ahoy! You can find local dates and times here
When we got home the girls wanted me to create a fun dessert for them to enjoy. Using Blue Bunny Vanilla Ice Cream, snickerdoodle cookies, dark chocolate hot fudge, sprinkles and cherries we created a Vanilla snickerdoodle crunch cup!
Here's what you need to create a super yummy treat
Blue Bunny Vanilla Ice Cream
Mason Jars ( I used the small ones )
Add about 3 scoops of ice cream and crumble up the snickerdoodle cookies. Spread them on the of the ice cream. We used 2 cookies per cup.
Melt the hot fudge and drizzle over the top making sure it gets to the bottom for a chocolaty surprise.
The girls chose pink sugar sprinkles so we added a bunch of those on the top as well.
No ice cream dessert is complete until you add a nice red cherry!
To make my jars look cute for the summer all I did was tie a cute ribbon around the jars. These make the perfect treat for any BBQ or family dinner this summer.
