Dr. Brown's Gia Nursing Pillow Review & #Giveaway @drbrownsbaby #client

Let's face it, nursing can be super difficult and without proper support it can be even more so.

**Disclosure: Party of 5 received product to facilitate their review. No monetary compensation was made. All opinions are my own**

When Amelia was born I used the Dr. Brown's Gia nursing pillow.

I love the angle of the pillow, it helps aid digestion and prevent reflux. Amelia has reflux anyhow but when we use the Dr. Brown's Gia nursing pillow it helps her to not spit up as much. She is much happier when this happens. A happy baby makes a happy Mommy :)

  • Angled feeding may help digestion and reduce reflux and other feeding problems
  • Wider, flatter pillow surface helps prevent baby from rolling down
  • Patented, non-flat design positions baby at incline
  • Grows with your baby with virtually limitless positions
  • Quilted 100% Cotton, Anti-Bacterial and Stain-Resistant
  • Machine Wash & Dry/100% Cotton Shell
  • Use with or without cover

  •
The Gia pillow is super soft, yet has the firmness that I require in a nursing pillow.

The Gia Nursing Pillow was designed by a Lactation Consultant so you can be assured that the nursing pillow is great for breastfeeding.

The pillows are made with a soft stitched fabric that is 100% cotton. The covers and the pillow are both machine washable and maintain their shape! Huge huge plus here! We all know how messy babies can be.

The Gia Pillow Covers are also machine washable, made of quilted cotton and slip on and off easily.
They come in 5 styles so there is one to suit everyones needs.

Here's how the Gia Nusring Pillow works:

The unique shape – which is not U-shaped like other pillows – is what allows moms multiple options for breastfeeding. The thick end works well for newborn babies while the thin end is best for older babies. The Gia® pillow also has a broader surface area throughout which means baby is cradled by the pillow so their torso and limbs are well-supported.

BUY IT: The Dr, Browns Gia Nursing Pillow retails for $34.99 and the covers for $19.99. They can be found at Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby.

WIN IT: One lucky Party of 5 reader is going to win both the Gia Nursing Pillow and a cover!

I like that Gia has a wider, broader surface so that the baby will have more room and you don't need a booster pillow.

My favorite feature is that it is machine washable! I don't like to buy anything like that unless I know I can wash it without it loosing shape!
